About This Cocktail
An aromatic, herbaceous smash where fresh Thai basil and sweet basil are lightly bruised in the shaker to release their essential oils, then lifted by tart lime and a silky pour of passion fruit. A fine veil of lemongrass spray on the surface meets the nose the moment you raise the glass — bright, green, unmistakably Southeast Asian in character and quintessentially Amuerte.

Method
Build the Cocktail
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice cubes
- Shake hard until the cocktail is ice-cold and properly diluted
- Fine strain directly into a chilled coupe glass
- Finish with a floating basil leaf, a few drops of basil oil, and a fine mist of lemongrass spray
Add the basil leaves to the shaker last and shake hard rather than muddling — the ice bruises the leaves just enough to release their aroma without shredding them into the drink. Apply the lemongrass spray at the very last moment, once the cocktail is in front of your guest, so the scent meets them as they lift the glass.
